My family history in Hawaii dates back four generations. My great, great grandparents immigrated to Hawaii in the 1800s from the Azores in Portugal to help develop the growing Hawaiian fishing industry. My parents lived, met and married in Hilo. And although they eventually settled in California, they regularly returned to Hawaii and their family roots. As a result, I was raised with a deep respect for the islands, their culture and people. Recently I have started to re-connect with Hawaii and my family history there. While some may view the islands simply as a tropical vacation destination, to me it increasingly feels like returning home. Hawaii holds a deep seeded place in my heart. As a result I spend more and more time there.
Currently I travel to Hawaii twice a year and I'm planning to expand the length of some of my visits to 30 days, allowing me more time for in-person consultations. If you live in Hawaii, please feel free to contact me for more information or possible in-person appointment scheduling. I also offer phone appointments if my next visit does not coincide with your needs.
